A politician is one who participates in politics. Most politicians tend to be either:

Most politicians in America tend to be lawyers. Most of them, with a few conservative and libertarian exceptions (such as Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz), tend to support big government Welfare state-Nanny state and the growing Police state created by the War on drugs, War on terror, the Patriot Act and the NDAA.

Incremental Gun-Grabbing of the [[Police state|Nanny State]]

Liberals and socialists support “common sense” measures - a “good first step” of the Nanny State. To a citizen-prepper-patriot and to the Bill of Rights, this is ”death by a thousand paper cuts“.

This Second Amendment Foundation video is the formal response to Hollywood's Demand a Plan gun-grabbing propaganda video. The video shows one of the main differences between liberal gun control Nanny states (Blue states) and conservative and/or libertarian Second Amendment-supporting ”free states“ (Red states). Boston T. Party’s Boston's Gun Bible ranks Vermont at 99% in the State Firearms Laws Rankings due to its being a Constitutional Carry state. Due to its tightly worded State Constitution, Vermont has never been able to have a restriction on the method of how one could carry a firearm, and thus, in this regard, Vermont stood entirely separate from the rest of the United States for quite some time. Because of this, Constitutional Carry is still referred to by some as “Vermont carry”.<ref name=“Boston T Party firearms freedom”> 105 word quotation: Fair Use Source:.
